The Priests House is a small, cosy restaurant set in fabulous surroundings. This is true whatever the season and in many respects is even more inviting when dark and wild outside, what with the real fires burning, candles flickering and torches blazing. Doubling as a wedding and function venue means that the restaurant is often full so booking ahead is essential.

The restaurant is normally open for lunch Friday to Sunday in winter, with Sunday being a traditional Yorkshire menu. Evenings are Friday and Saturday, with other nights available by appointment.
During fine weather, there is also an outside tea terrace serving drinks, cakes and light lunches.
Family run with Debbie the proprietor, and long term catering manager Mark in the kitchen, your personal attention is guaranteed.
Being so intimate, a meal at the Priests House is as much an occasion as it is a dining experience.
The evening menu is changed on a monthly basis to provide a variety of quality dishes using the best ingredients available.
There is also a delicious choice of local steaks available.
