Dear Debbie and Mark,

It was only recently when I was talking about your wonderful venue and had a look on your website again, that I realised I couldn't remember if we had sent you a thank you card after the 'wedding'!! Terrible, I'm so sorry.

You both made our day fantastic, and every single guest commented on how wonderful the food and service was, and how stunning the location was. The wedding flowers and table decorations were gorgeous, and you were so helpful and accommodating with arranging our special day. We would like to say a Massive THANK YOU for making our dreams come true but also surprisingly at a very reasonable budget.

 

We really hope to get back there again. All the best with the place. You are doing a fantastic job. Once again, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. You surpassed our expectations and made the day Perfect. I wish we could do it all again.

Hi there Debbie!

We would firstly like to apologise for the ridiculous amount of time it has taken to extend a massive thankyou email to you for the wonderful day you allowed us to have on our wedding day. We had such a fabulous time and you did such a wonderful job in creating the most amazing setting!!!

 

I also wanted to be able to send some of our wonderful photos at the time we thanked you. If you remember you allowed us to have some of our photos to be taken down in the Chapel which we are so grateful for as they turned out to be amazing!!

 

We thank you so much again!! hope we are forgiven for the delay!! we are looking forward to visiting you and the Priest House again this year and will most probably popping in for lunch at some point!!

A huge thank you for making our wedding day so wonderful. Debbie, your warmth, friendliness and intricate attention to detail made all our planning a real joy. All of our guests were truly overwhelmed by the beautiful surroundings and of course could not speak highly enough about the marvellous medieval banquet prepared by Mark, truly a feast fit for a king! Thank you for preparing the fabulous flowers and decorations which complemented the banquet perfectly.

We were so pleased we hired the bunk barn also, it was transformed into a wonderful medieval hall and again our guests haven’t stopped talking about it to this day.

We would highly recommend The Priests House as a beautifully intimate and romantic wedding venue and we cannot wait to visit this part of wonderful Yorkshire again.

Thank you for a day to remember for so many reasons - the location - the food - the weather - the attention to detail - the table settings - the flowers - all magical. Debbie’s thoughtfulness and kindness in looking after Eileen will be forever appreciated.

As a venue for our golden wedding anniversary it was perfect. Our appreciation was shared by all our guests not only for the beautifully prepared dinner, but to learn of the plans for the chapel many of whom took the opportunity to have a look round. What can we say that we haven’t already said? The day was absolutely perfect (even the weather was kind) and everything we dreamed of. From the ceremony, to the fabulous food, the service and finally the evening bash in the barn. We really didn’t want the night to end (and for some it didn’t....). Most of our guests hadn’t been to Yorkshire before and fell totally in love with it, what a venue!

We really hope your chapel project is a success and I’m sure you will get many more civil partnerhips in the future, we will certainly be recommending you to our friends. Definitely be back for a meal later in the year.

Thank you so much for such a magnificent wedding day and allowing us to have our day at Barden Tower. It was truly amazing and the snow really added to the magic of the setting! We have some superb photo’s - I bet there aren’t many brides having a snowball fight in their wedding dress. We wanted a unique venue - I think we got it!

I’m so envious of you to be able to work in such a fabulous setting, the Yorkshire Dales is my favourite place.

Thanks to Mark for the excellent food, you for the the flowers and the superb cake and your lads who served us so professionally, you must be so proud of them. We couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Its been 12 months since our wedding day at The Priests House and we still look back in awe. Everything was perfect and we have you to thank for a big part of this. The food was amazing both during the day and at the evening “hog Roast” - people still comment about it and the quality of the fayre exceeded all expectations.

The Barden Tower and Priests House looked beautiful inside and out and the barn lived up to our hopes for a party with a cozy feel despote the live band and disco. Your son and friend were great and friendly bar staff in the evening and all the staff during the day could not have represented you better.

The whole day was nothing short of magnificent, one we will treasure forever.
